Tyra Banks is being sued by a disgruntled parent who says the talk-show host exploited her daughter when the girl appeared on an episode of Tyra without her mother's knowledge.
According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, Beverly McClendon is suing the show for $3 million, claiming that after her 15-year-old daughter answered an online casting call looking for teen sex addicts, Tyra producers flew her from Georgia to New York and provided hotel lodgings -- all without McClendon's necessary consent.
McClendon says she had no idea that her daughter was appearing on the show until it actually aired.
"This show was undoubtedly watched by sexual deviants, perverts and pedophiles alike," claims the lawsuit, which named Banks, her producers and Warner Bros. Entertainment.
McClendon insists her daughter's right to privacy was violated, and she is seeking an injunction against any future airings of the program. Tyra wrapped production in May, but the CW network is still airing repeats.
